The mixed-use development at American Fork Station is uniquely located off the I-15 and 200 South. It features direct access to the American Fork Front Runner commuter rail service, making this site perfect for transit-oriented design. With amazing views of the Wasatch Front and quick access to downtown this community is primed to become the new sustainable center of activity for American Fork. It will contain over 500 apartment units, 60,000 sf of new retail, a 100-key hotel, and over 400,000 sf of office space. The office buildings will serve to anchor the development and give architectural prominence along the Front Runner line. In addition to providing a strong design presence as seen from I-15, these office buildings will serve as a buffer for the residential units. A series of green spaces and plazas will then connect offices to residential buildings. These connections will be used as “wellness loops” to promote circulation and activity throughout the development. Events and activities will be promoted in shared plazas located near the platform and neighboring sites to encourage joint activities and welcome additional visitors int this exciting new community.
